[오늘의 기도] 악한 길을 버리고 주께로 돌이키게 하소서
북한은 올해 각종 시설 및 공장 착공·준공식, 노동당 9차 대회 등 국가 행사를 잇따라 개최했다. 한국통일연구원에 따르면 김정은의 올해 상반기 공개 활동은 모두 92건으로, 지난해 같은 기간에 비해 거의 두 배로 늘었다. 국가 행사는 많은 반면 식량 가격은 급등했다. 지난해 겨울 1kg에 2만 원대(북한 돈)였던 쌀값은 지금 4만 5천 원까지 올랐다.
“너희가 악한 날은 멀리 미루어 놓고 포악한 통치는 가까이 가져오느냐 포도주를 주발로 마시며 극상품 기름을 몸에 바르면서 요셉의 망함을 슬퍼하지 않는 자들이여 그들이 이제 가장 먼저 사로잡혀 갈 것이니 빈둥거리는 자들의 술잔치가 사라지리라” 아모스 6장 3, 6~7절(남북한병행성경 북한어) 말씀으로 주민의 기본적인 삶의 조건을 보장하는 일은 뒷전이고 당 독재와 체제 강화에만 골몰해 있는 북한 정권을 올려드립니다. 심판이 임하기 전 악한 길을 버리고 주께로 돌이키게 하시고, 그 땅에 남겨두신 주의 백성을 통해 복음이 더욱 퍼져 나가도록 긍휼을 베풀어 주옵소서.
