[Prayer] May Evil Schemes Be Shattered and May We Enjoy the Blessing of Worshipping God

Recently, North Korean authorities have been conducting anti-South Korea hostility training for all military personnel. Meanwhile, the U.S. President expressed a willingness to engage in dialogue with Kim Jong Un and ordered a significant reduction in joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises. We pray that futile schemes opposing God’s will be abolished and that the people of North Korea enjoy the blessing of worshipping God.

[오늘의 기도] 도발을 멈추고 주권자 하나님을 인정하게 하소서

북한군이 지난주 군사분계선(MDL) 남쪽을 침범해 우리 군이 경고 사격을 한 것으로 확인됐다. 북한군은 즉시 북상했으며 이후 특이 동향은 없었다고 한다. 북한군은 지난해 최소 17차례 MDL을 침범했으나 올해는 잠잠했다. 전문가들은 MDL 일대 수풀을 제거해 땅을 평탄화하고 지뢰를 매설하는 작업을 지난해 마무리했기 때문으로 보고 있으며, 연쇄 탄도미사일 발사 도발과 MDL 월선 등을 통해 한국군의 대비 태세를 시험해 보고 있다는 분석을 내놓았다.

“부르심을 받은 자들에게는 그리스도가 하나님의 능력이요 하나님의 지혜다 이는 하나님의 어리석음이 사람의 지혜보다 더 지혜롭고 하나님의 약함이 사람의 강함보다 더 강하기 때문이다” 고린도전서 1장 24~25절(남북한병행성경 북한어) 말씀으로 군사분계선을 넘어 남하하고 탄도미사일을 발사하는 등 호시탐탐 도발 기회를 노리는 북한을 하나님의 손에 올려드립니다. 사람의 지혜와 강함보다 더 지혜롭고 강하신 주님, 북한 정권이 의지하는 군사력과 각종 무기들이 무용지물이 되게 하시고 구원을 베푸시고 승리를 주시는 하나님을 인정하게 하옵소서. 주권자 하나님만을 신뢰하며 나아갈 때 주께서 행하시는 일들을 목도하고 주님을 찬양하게 하옵소서.
