The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense’s Intelligence Directorate has reported that North Korea and Russia are considering plans to increase the number of North Korean troops dispatched to Russia to approximately 50,000 by the end of November. In addition to infantry, it has been reported that North Korea has recently provided Russia with about 90 missile unit personnel and over 40 new ballistic missiles. The military cooperation between North Korea and Russia is deepening, as they now directly send missile operational forces following the deployment of combat troops and the provision of shells and weapons.
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10-11, NKRV). Lord, who brings wars to an end, we ask that you prevent the military cooperation between North Korea and Russia from expanding any further. Please halt the vicious cycle of exchanging weapons, troops, and military technology that leads to war and death. May the lives of people not be sacrificed for the greed and power of the leaders of North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, and the Korean Peninsula. Remember the suffering people of North Korea and open a way for the Gospel to be proclaimed in this closed land, so that the day may come soon when they know the true King, God, and worship freely.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
