[Today’s Prayer] God, when will You restore us?

November 2, 2026

In 1907, North Korea, having experienced the great Pyongyang revival, was filled with God’s grace. The revival continued even during the Japanese occupation, leading to the establishment of 3,089 churches, but after liberation in 1945, during the process of communization, these 3,089 churches disappeared without a trace. Additionally, 16,984 faithful believers who upheld their faith were martyred. The Bible was burned, and those found in possession of it faced immediate punishment. “God, when will You restore us?” We pray, proclaiming the restoration of the believers in the North who groan with broken hearts.

“I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning; afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.” Isaiah 1:26 (North Korean Parallel Bible) We pray with this word. We proclaim, in the name of Jesus Christ, the restoration of the 3,089 churches that were destroyed under the oppression of the communist regime and the more than 16,984 believers who shed their blood as martyrs. We also proclaim, in the name of Jesus Christ, the miraculous restoration of sending one Bible each to all believers in North Korea who long for God’s Word.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
