As the economic difficulties persist over a long period, corruption among officials of the party and military, such as bribery, has become rampant, and discipline and order are collapsing. Furthermore, the generation of market traders and their successors are showing a tendency to follow the power and logic of money learned in the marketplace, rather than adhering to Kim Jong-un’s teachings. In response, the Kim Jong-un regime is strengthening ideological control over party officials and enacting laws such as the Anti-Reactionary Thought and Culture Law to thoroughly block residents from accessing external culture and information.
“Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—the Most High, who is my refuge—no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.” Psalm 91:9-10 (North Korean Version) may this word be fulfilled in North Korea, that the wicked regime which rules and governs, opposing God, may fall and be filled with God’s justice. O God, who governs and orchestrates all circumstances, remember the people of Your chosen land, North Korea, and may Your kingdom come throughout the land via the underground church, allowing them to freely worship You.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
