[Prayer] Pray that the Gospel will be Shared through the North Koreans Living Abroad

“About four million people in North Korea have cell phones. We can reach them through the power of the press and the internet. When North Koreans living abroad receive their salary, the first thing they purchase is a smartphone, an intelligent handset phone. When they go back to North Korea, they can spread to their family and friends about what they have seen on the internet while they were abroad.” This was a statement made by former North Korean diplomat, Thae Yong-ho, as he announced that the North Koreans will be informed about the South Korean elections and democracy through the Internet. We pray that the North Koreans abroad will hear the Word of God and share the gospel when they go back into North Korea.

“Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.” Mark 5:19-20

Lord, we lift up to you North Koreans who are staying abroad for public service, business, and labor. We pray that the North Koreans abroad, who have relatively free access to external information, will hear the gospel through many channels and come to know you, Lord. May those who have understood your great works, go back to North Korean and share the gospel to families and friends.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
