[Prayer] Pray that Digital Dictatorship will not Prevent the Spread of God’s Word

North Korea was chosen as a country with severe restrictions on its use of mobile communication. Last November, North Korea developed its own SIM card. This made it possible for North Korean authorities to track the cell phone immediately after opening it. If a cell phone user is found committing banned actions, he or she may be warned by the national agency or sentenced to three years in jail, severe fines, or more severe penalties. Like China, which has already built an overwhelming system to monitor its citizens through digital technology, North Korea is likely to use digital to suppress and control its citizens. We pray that digital dictatorship will not prevent the spread of God’s Word.

“Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 28:45-47)

God, who said that the cross and the resurrection of Christ and repentance will be spread to all nations, we thank you for the spread of the gospel even in North Korea. We pray that the digital totalitarian, which monitors the daily struggles of the citizens, will not disturb the spread of the gospel to North Korea. We also pray that the scope of the Bible delivery, missionary delivery, seminary delivery, church delivery, and broadcast delivery to North Korea will be expanded each day.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
