Thae Yong-ho, a former North Korean diplomat stated, “The executives who are assisted by Kim Jong-Un are the first and second generations (Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong-Il era). There are no young generations. If North Koreans in their 30s and 40s enter the main power group, big changes will come. In world history, communism has also changed rapidly since the third generation. Gorbachev, the Soviet Union, is also the third generation. Currently, China’s Xi Jinping leadership, which is struggling with Hong Kong’s democratization movement, is the second generation. It will change when the third generation comes to power.”
“But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;” (Romans 2:8-9)
We pray that this word may fall upon the power elites in North Korea that are wielding power on the side of Kim’s family. When the current executives of Kim Jong-Un support the generational change, let young executives doubt whether North Korea can secure the future with the current regime structure, and raise it as a movement to seek changes in the system.
