[Prayer] May the Thoughts of Those Involved in the North Korean Nuclear Be Submitted to Christ

Thae Yong-ho, a former North Korean diplomat said, “If the US sanctions continue, North Korea may provoke next year. They may commit provocations of nuclear tests or intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) tests during the US presidential reelection campaign.” “Trump is not adding any sanctions to North Korea, even though he knows Kim Jong-un is not willing to denuclearize,” stated Thae Yong-ho to appeal to the strengthening of sanctions. President Trump is proud of the fact that the reason North Korea has suspended nuclear tests and long-range ballistic missile tests since late November 2017 is because of the US-North Korea summit. We pray that the decisions surrounding sanctions and denuclearization of North Korea will be made and implemented in accordance with God’s plan.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ”. 2 Corinthians 10”3-5.

There is little sign of narrowing the disagreement between North Korea and the United States over the steps to ease sanctions and denuclearize. However, we pray that the North Korean nuclear issue will not be solved according to the flesh, such as political calculations, national interests, or human theories, but may all thoughts only be settled and fulfilled according to God’s will through submission to Christ.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
