[Prayer] May We Hold onto Jesus, Our Only Hope

“North Korea’s greatest difficulty is its lack of hope. There is no hope in the system and no hope in the home. Another difficulty is that as children grow up in broken families, they too do not know how to play the right roles of a parent. If there are more Christian believers, wouldn’t the foundation for healthy life, society, and nation be created? If there is hope even amongst living in hardship if there is confidence in living as a child of God, wouldn’t life become healthy? The whole world is praying for the day that the North Koreans can worship freely. I hope they don’t lose hope.” Missionary Kenneth Bae said in an interview with Daily NK. We pray that more North Koreans will accept our only hope, Jesus Christ.

“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” Psalm 95:1-3

We pray that the sound of joyous singing to Jehovah will ring throughout the land of North Korea. May the name of Jesus Christ be the true hope in the ruined land where there is no hope. We especially pray for the North Korean families who have failed to listen to the Word of God or raise their children through the Word. May both generations of parents and children receive the Gospel and worship God wholeheartedly, living in the faith, hope, and love the Lord gives.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
