In early May, a North Korean smuggling organization, which had been involved in earning foreign currency by importing drugs back and forth from Changbai China to Hyesan North Korea, was arrested. However, it has been revealed that not only the North Korean security agents were involved but also the Chinese security agents. For a long time, the North Korean drugs were actively traded on the black market in China, and they are flowing into the US, Japan, and South Korea. Currently, the inspection of vehicles crossing the borders has been strengthened, and the Chinese authorities are showing their intention to punish drug trafficking carried out by North Korea. We pray that the truth of this case will be revealed so that the supplying of North Korean drugs in North Korea and all over the world will disappear.
“Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” As it is written in 2 Corinthians 7:1, Lord, we pray that the people of North Korea will not defile themselves by drug sales or use. The North Korean organization, which was trying to smuggle drugs into the Changbai, was arrested by the security. We pray that through this case, the North Korean drugs would no longer be exported abroad. We pray that all drugs that are deeply rooted in North Korean society will be eradicated so that they will not commit sin in driving neighbor countries into hallucination for money. We pray that they will not rely on drugs that bring temporary pleasure but to know God, who is our eternal joy.
