[Prayer] UN Security Council Will Respond to Additional Missile Provocation

A Japanese press reported that the US government has told the countries involved, including Japan, that if the North test-fires another short-range ballistic missile, the UN Security Council will be requested for measures. The US government has told North Korea that they will not respond to the launching of the missile on July 9th, but the next one will not be overlooked, and countermeasures will be taken by the UN Security Council. In addition, the newspaper reported that it will condemn North Korea through a statement on the Security Council if they launch additional missiles, and is considering the adoption of a new Security Council resolution depending on the threat level. We pray that North Korea will accept US warnings and cease missile productions and launch operations.

Lord, the United States, which has not made a clear statement until now regarding the North Korea’s violation of the UN Security Council resolution of launching ballistic missiles, has now stated that they will respond to any additional missile provocations. May the message of the US revealed through the Japanese media be a warning to North Korea. Please let them realize that the nuclear and the missiles are not a lifeline but a burden and shame. We pray that activities of North Korean missile launches that was resumed within 17 months will be stopped and completely abolished. Lord, although the denuclearization negotiations are in a stalemate, we believe that your good will and plan for the North Korean nuclear weapons and missiles will be complete.
