[Prayer] Economic unrest may lead to political instability
Kim Jung-un’s ultimate goal is to guarantee regime survival and to stabilize economy. To do so, the precondition must be met, which is only possible through a denuclearization solution. After the Hanoi summit, Kim has pointed out several times that he has no will to give up nuclear weapons. It is firmly believed that nuclear development brings political and economic stability. In addition, Kim is holding the nuclear as a lifeline because he doesn’t want to become like Kaddafi who was murdered by the civilian army after giving up his weapons of mass destruction.
But holding nuclear weapons can deepen the crisis. It is overlooked that the economic instability of the residents leads to political turmoil and can lead to the collapse of the regime. We pray that Kim Jong un will face such reality and accept the complete denuclearization proposed by the international community.
