[Prayer] Impact of recent Chinese situation ②
If the Chinese crisis deepens in the future, the Chinese government, like the Nero emperors in the Roman era, will point the finger at the churches and saints who rebel against the national control as well as persecute them. Even if China overcomes the crisis, its political, economic, diplomatic and military influence in the international community will become even more powerful, which leads to strengthening ideological totalitarian dictatorship that opposes the Kingdom of God.
We pray that the evil plans and schemes of the Chinese government toward the Chinese Church would be broken by the mighty hand of God.
“See, they will come from afar— some from the north, some from the west, some from the region of Aswan. Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.”
