[Prayer] North Korea trying to maintain its regime by the support of China
Thae Yong-ho, the former North Korean diplomat, predicted that Kim Jong-un would visit Xi Jinping to ask for financial support, saying, “Since Kumgangsan Tourism and Kaesong Industrial Complex have not been solved, please help me.” In addition, Thae Yong-ho also said that Kim would have professed that “even a small sanction would be dissolved in the Hanoi talks” at the North Korea-China talks held in January this year, but since it has not been completed, the only place on which Kim could rely would be China, and China would help North Korea even through the back door.
He also prospected that China would not help North Korea as much as it wants since China is in a trade conflict with the United States. So far, the North Korean regime has survived by the support of China. We pray that the attempt of North Korea to maintain its regime through China would fail and North Korea would be a nation that put its trust in God rather than China.
