[Prayer] “I will bring the Bible to North Korea!”

[Prayer] “I will bring the Bible to North Korea!”

“When the North Korean believer, who has been nurtured and trained by the word of God for about a year, return to his hometown in North Korea, there is a question that I cannot ask easily as a missionary: “Are you going to bring the Bible with you?” Since I know exactly what would happen when the North Korean believer brings the Bible to North Korea and get caught, I cannot put the Bible into his hand. However, he was willing to carry the Bible with him. He burst out in anger because the North Korean government hasn’t allowed its’ people to read the Bible. I could not help but pray for him to be kept safe during his journey to home since the lives of his whole family including his relatives hang on the one copy of Bible.”

This is what one of our missionaries in Cornerstone Ministries Int’l shared at the Mission Conference this week. We pray for the safety of North Korean believers who carry the Bible to North Korea as well as those who will hear the gospel through these Bible carriers.

“The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.”

Psalm 19:7&10
