[Prayer] A North Korean refugee in danger of being deported to NK due to drugs

A 20-year-old North Korean refugee who committed drug-related crimes in Australia was in danger of being deported to North Korea. When the first drug trafficking was discovered, the Australian authorities warned that he could not live in Australia if he committed the same crime again. However, this young man took drugs again and was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment. The Australian immigration office is in the process of deportation and the refugee has appealed to the federal court.

If the deportation is decided, this young man will be likely to be imprisoned or executed in North Korea. Even though he needs to be punished for the crime he committed, the deportation to North Korea should not be made due to the short-sightedness of the Australian authorities.

We pray that all the North Korea refugees who are scattered all over the world would be able to adapt to the country they live in well and hear the gospel so that they would become a foundation for the salvation in North Korea and the Unified Korea.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”

Matthew 5:7
