[Prayer] A new missile base found in North Korea
CNN reported on June 6 that the North Korean missile bases are still in operation in Yongjeo-dong and the new facility are being built 11 km away. The new facility is a candidate base for accommodating the latest long-range missiles and has been found to be built continually even after the North Korea–United States summit in June. Shin Jong-woo, a senior analyst at the Defense Security Forum in Korea, pointed out, “North Korea seems to upgrade its base in line with the improvement of its missiles.”
Meanwhile, last month, the Sakkanmol Missile Operating Base in Hwanghae-do, one of 20 non-missile missile bases that North Korea has not reported, have been introduced in detail. The international community, led by the United States, is pushing for denuclearization of North Korea through diplomatic negotiations, but it is still on track. Prayer is needed to prevent North Korea from producing and deploying nuclear warheads.
