[Prayer] Pray for North Korean oversea workers under hard working conditions
North Korean overseas workers who are not allowed to have wages or enjoy freedom are said to be “slave laborers,” a senior US State Department official said. A recent report from the Free Asian Broadcasting Service (RFA) states that the salary of a North Korean employee working in a Dandong restaurant or song pub in China is between 2000 and 2500 yuan. However, if North Korean employees give the money to the authorities, there will be 700-800 yuan remaining to them. In addition, they should give around 200 yuan to the assistant commissioner, so only 500 to 600 yuan (about 80 to 90 dollars) fall into their hands. Even if there is a tip other than the wage, the individual does not have it, and it is taken away.
Prayer is needed for North Korean workers who endure hard working conditions and do hard labor without getting paid fair labor. Let the North Korean workers be given a reasonable cost of labor, and that their money will not flow into the development of nuclear weapons or the funds for maintaining the regime.
