[Prayer] Let the Christian extermination policy of North Korea instantly stop
“Recently, an emergency meeting was convened at the National Political Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea. The agenda was about the extermination of Christianity in North Korea. In this meeting, it was said that ‘The United States is not scary and South Korea is not scary. The United States will not shoot us first. South Korea and the United States will not invade first. However, we might be able to collapse because of Christians, especially the prayer and worship of Christians in South Korea.’ Therefore, the State Security Department of North Korea has been issued a special order to strengthen the oppression of Christianity.”
This is the news that the North Korean refugee pastor delivered. The North Korean authorities are afraid of Christianity because they know that the Bible has been sent to North Korea, the Gospel has been delivered, the number of people who receive Jesus Christ has increased, and that they are praying and worshiping in North Korea. The North Korean authorities, who are against God, know that their dictatorship can be shaken enormously when the Gospel is delivered to their people. This is the reason why South Korean Churches and believers should be coming to God with more intense prayers and putting more efforts on the mission to North Korea. Especially, we need to pray for the protection of North Korean underground church members from the special order of exterminating Christianity in North Korea. Also, prayer is needed for the evil deed of the North Korean regime, which has a harsh oppression policy for Christians, to stop.
In Psalm 143:3 & 12, God says, “The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in the darkness like those long dead…..In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.” I lift up the situation in North Korea having the Christian extermination policy. May the special order, issued to the State Security Department by strengthening the Christian extermination policy, instantly stop. Please break off the evil deed of the North Korean authorities that is severely against God and cover their eyes so that the North Korean believers and churches who keep their faith would not be found out and be protected. As we hear the news that the North Korean authorities are aware of how great the power of worshiping and praying to God is and are afraid, let the South Korean churches and believers become more eager to pray for the evangelization of North Korea. May more Bibles and the Gospel be delivered to North Korea so that a great number of people will return to God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
