[Prayer] To send food and necessities to the North Korean believers for this winter
In recent years, the North Korean authorities have begun issuing a passport or pass card by giving them bribery, which makes it easier for the departure permit process that used to take several months to a year or more. Also, in the past, they forcibly took away the gifts and bribes of residents who returned from their relatives’ visits, but nowadays, the North Korean authorities suddenly become more tolerant of travel to China, allowing most of the items to take in except for some banned items. Therefore, the number of North Koreans who visit their relatives in China has increased significantly. Prayer is needed for the North Korean believers to be provided with the necessities and food for this coming winter. Above all, we need to pray that the Bible will be delivered to them. Prayer is also needed to ensure that they are not caught when they preach the Word of God.
In Isaiah 11: 9, God says, “They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” I lift up the situation where the trip to China for relatives’ visits has become easier in North Korea. Thank you for making the trip to China easier for the North Korean people than before although it is still hard for them to go through North Korea and China. Through this opportunity, let the daily necessities and food be sent to the North Korean believers this winter. In particular, let more North Koreans living in the inland areas as well as the border areas of North Korea visit their relatives in China to enjoy the grace of salvation by hearing the gospel and meeting Jesus Christ. I pray that God will protect the whole process of sharing the Gospel to the North Korean people. Let their faith grow and be strengthened, and let them be built up to preach the Gospel when they return to North Korea. Therefore, may the knowledge of Jehovah God fill the entire land of North Korea. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
