[Prayer] North Korea authorities prohibit the use of the word “reform and openness”
On June 4th, the intranet-based videoconference was held in Yanggang Province, the purpose was to prevent the ideological fluctuations that might occur in the executives and residents ahead of the summit. The people who participated in the meeting were the chairmen of the provincial governors, the secretaries of the provinces, the deputy director, the chairmen, and the people’s chairmen. The first deputy head of the organization said that the talks with the United States are based on the needs of North Korea, and that North Korea will never reform and open its doors. Thus, from now on, do not use the word, “reform and openness.” In addition, he made a remark that “Nuclear test site in Penggyori is nothing but an unnecessary thing, not a nuclear abandonment but a completion of a general nuclear strategy of the great general Kim.” He continued and said that, “Not only in Yanggang Province but also in South Pyongan Province, there is no absolute reform opening and we should not use these terms.” This is because the North Korean authorities forbade the use of the term “reform and opening” internally in advance of the US-North Korea summit. It seems that it is aimed to awaken the people who have raised expectations about the holding of the US-North Korea talks, and to prevent the agitation of the executives by emphasizing that North Korea is not being dragged into the terms of the United States America.
Although North Korea seems to be trying to make changes abroad, it still restricts information internally and deceives both the international community and North Korean residents. Perhaps, the inflow of external information into North Korea may be more scary than nuclear for North Korea. Pray that the outside information continues to flow into North Korea, so that the falsehood of the North Korean authorities will be revealed without any hindrance to anyone living in North Korea, and the reform and openness will be prompted so that the evil regime will collapse and thus the gospel of Jesus Christ’s will prevail and permeate throughout North Korea.
I lift up the North Korean authorities who are deceiving the international community and the people of North Korea in prayer by claiming your promise from Isaiah 55:8-9, “8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. In addition to renewing the image of a “closed country” in the international community with summit meetings with South Korea, China, and the United States, let the real image of North Korea that tightly control the influx of outside information internally be revealed worldwide. Specifically speaking, let the North Korean residents know the true image of North Korea because of the continuous inflow of external information into DPRK. Let the continual flow of information that North Korean leaders worry the most flood North Korea so that North Korea can quickly reform and open. Thus, the North Korea evil regime who exploit its residents and goes against God collapse in Jesus’ Name. Ultimately, the gospel of Jesus Christ will prevail and permeate throughout the land of North Korea, and that only one truly living God shall be exalted. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
