A North Korean spoke to un on the phone that the rice price is cheaper than in China. China is sending a huge amount of rice into North Korea. The North Korean government is selling it in market.
The North Korean government not only sells the rice provided by the Chinese government for a wholesale price to merchants but also collects tax in market.
While the Chinese government pretends to supports the UN’s sanctions on North Korea, it helps North Korea by sending food because it is against THAAD deployment to South Korea. It looks hopeless to rely on China to solve North Korea’s nuclear programme. China seems to put more weight on its relationship with North Korea rather than peace in the Korean peninsula. It should not hinder the will of God who wants to see reunification through the gospel message.
Father, thank You for the Scripture in Romans 1 verse 12 “that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” Lord, even though the UN imposed sanctions on North Korea, China is providing North Korea rice unlimitedly. To press North Korea, all nations must work together. However China does not like the THAAD deployment to South Korea, it confuses international relations around North Korea. Lord, please turn the Chinese government political schemes on the two Korea into the right direction. We pray for North Korean people to get fed well with the rice. We pray against the North Korean government. Let Your justice and love stand upon the land of North Korea. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
