A magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook South Korea in the evening on 12th and another bigger one 5.8 earthquake rocked the city of Geeongju. The aftershock was even felt in Seoul and other cities in the Southern part of South Korea. It caused a few infrastructure issues. Korean Train Express was stopped and the SNS services like Kakaotalk partially went down because of sudden rush of exchange messages aftermath of the quake. It was the most powerful to hit since records began in 1978. The Korean Public works department manually stopped the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant one by one for a safety reason last night.
The Korean peninsula is not an earthquake safe zone any more. They need to prepare such disastrous moments and must be trained to handle unexpected crisis. Please pray for South Korea to be prepared for crisis that might happen in case of sudden political changes. Please pray for the both Koreas to be reunited through the gospel message.
Father, thank You for Isaiah 62 verse 10 “Go through, go through the gates; prepare you the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.” The earth even knows that Jesus is coming back and tells people by pitching, rolling and rocking nations. Lord, we pray for South Korea. There was the most powerful earthquake since records began in South Korea. Lord, we thank You that we did not lose any lives. Thank You father for protecting buildings. Lord, the South Korean people have to know that their land is not a safe zone from earthquakes. Please let them realize that they need to be trained to handle such a crisis. We pray for the South Korean government to be urged to organize such a learning program in each city. Please let all the South Korean people be one and work together for peace reunification and prepare in case of calamities during its process. Lord, we do want to see blood shedding. Please bring us the most peaceful reunification in the world history. Have mercy upon North Korea so that people in the nation can worship in freedom. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
