A missionary from China said “The number of South Korean visitors has dropped rapidly. The tourist industry is struggling in XXX city in China. Since Pastor Han Chung Ryeol was murdered, the city has become so quite. They say, North Korean police guards start chasing South Koreans even from the airport in China.”
The North Korean soldiers are closing in on South Koreans and North Korean escapees by intensifying their search in the border line area. A South Korean youth missionary team was not able to go in a certain place in China because they are from South Korea.
The North Korean government is hatching a evil plot against South Koreans and missionaries. However, we cannot stop going to China or preaching the gospel message to North Korean people. They are the Lord’s lost sheep. They should not be abandoned. All they need is the Word of God. Please pray for missionaries to get encouraged and have stronger faith to reach out to the lost in China and North Korea even though they are in dangerous situations.
Lord, thank You for the Scripture in “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Father, we trust You not to leave us or forsake us. Please be with missionaries in China and North Korea. Give them peace and courage to preach the gospel message without ceasing till they see the reunification of the two Koreas. Stretch out Your might arm and protect those who are Yours and hide them under Your wings. Keep them as the apple of Your eye. Please elect leaders among North Korean believers and send them back to North Korea to proclaim Your faithfulness and goodness. We praise You and give You thanks. Thank You for allowing us to preach the good news to people in China and North Korea. In Jesus name we pray.
