The following statement is a confession by a Talbukmin (NK defector/escapee) who claimed the Armistice Agreement signed on July 27, 1953 as NK fabricated victory. “July 27th in North Korea means the day that South Korea and United States signed a surrender document.” As in the previous years, North Korea is celebrating the Armistice Agreement day as a “Victory Day” by having various events. And in order to brainwash North Korean people and to promote an atmosphere of war building hostilities toward South Korea and United States, North Korea is having ‘Revenge Rally’ events. We must pray that brainwashing by fabrication of history and isolation that distorts historical view and that builds hatred toward South Korea and United States must be stopped in Jesus’ name.
Father God, we lift up to you North Korea as they are falsely calling the Armistice Agreement day as a “Victory Day” and having events to promote hostility toward South Korea and United States creating an atmosphere of war. We pray by claiming Ezekiel 13:13, “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.” We pray that North Koreans will know that You are sovereign over all and evil deeds like the events such as ‘Revenge Rally’ that North Korean government is having to brainwash their people to believe in their fabricated history will stop. Lord God, You will have mercy upon North Korea so that North Koreans will discern your righteousness and justice of the world history. And You will set a hedge of your protection over North Korean underground church believers so that war will not break out from North Korea. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
