Radio Free Asia USA reported on the 25th of July that there was fire after another in the SSB (Social Security Bureau) building in the Northern Hamgyong Province. The last one took place in May after January where the 2nd floor room of Chongjin Cheongam district SSB headquarters building was entirely burned. It was reported that the cause of fire was an electrical short circuit. But SSB building having the most safety precautions, one suspects it is arson from the surrounding dissatisfied people.
North Korea SSB agency is responsible for monitoring and controlling people’s political ideology. It is not a coincidence that fire after another occurred on SSB buildings. Although strongly organized from Labor Party to individual, this act can be viewed as a sign that the NK system can collapse. We have to pray for many break through acts that can help North Korea collapse so that the day of gospel unification will come swiftly.
We lift up to you the repeated fire in Chongjin SSB headquarters by claiming Your Words in Matthew 7:27, “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” May the stronghold the NK system organized from centralized Labor Party to an individual collapse and be governed by our God in order for the day of unification come quickly. Thus the NK people who are under the North Korean regime and leadership know the reality. Eventually may it cause a powerful wave that will break the stronghold of Kim’s regime and idol worship. Ultimately, North Korean residents will enjoy freedom to worship and praise God. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
