The ones who pay the price for the immense economic gains that North Korea has obtained from the Russo-Ukrainian War are the young people sent to the battlefield. We must pray that the suffering soldiers, who are thrust into war against their will, and the North Korean residents who have lost their beloved families may find God’s comfort, and that the place which is considered the most desperate and fearful may instead become a place of grace where they encounter God and hear the gospel.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 (North Korean Bible). God, may the weapon technology and combat experience gained through the war not become a means to prepare for another war, and may it not lead to results that threaten peace on the Korean Peninsula. Also, may all falsehood, deceit, and wicked ways be forsaken, and may we revere God and cherish the lives of the entrusted people, protecting them. Remember the suffering North Korean residents and open a way for the gospel to be shared in the closed land, so that the day may soon come when the North Korean people know the true King, God, and worship Him freely.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
