Radio Free Asia recently reported that memory cards containing foreign movies are now officially being sold in North Korea at post offices, mobile service centers, and repair shops where people activate their cell phone service. The authorities had previously classified the viewing and distribution of smuggled foreign movies as anti-regime acts, punishing them severely with sentences ranging from life imprisonment to the death penalty; however, they have now permitted a select few movies….
