Recently, there was an incident of the Russian invasion of Korean airspace during joint Russian-Chinese military exercise. As China and Russia are supporting North Korea, it appears as they were testing the US Northeast Asian military structure that is based on the US-ROK and US-Japan alliance. Meanwhile, North Korea has blamed the US-ROK alliance training and the introduction of South Korea’s F-35 aircraft. A few days ago, they launched a new ballistic missile under Kim Jung Un’s field command, arguing that they are developing nuclear and missiles because of South Korea’s military threat. If the strategic relation of North Korea, China, and Russia continues to be maintained, it is inevitable to conclude that the North Korean nuclear issue is far from being resolved. We pray that the Lord will control the situation of the Korean Peninsula.
Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end. (Psalm 102:25-27) Lord, who created the world and reigns forever, we bring to you the international situation of the Korean Peninsula, which is becoming increasingly unpredictable. North Korea is maintaining close strategic ties with China and Russia to break the current crisis and to bring political and economic gains by militarily threatening South Korea by bringing nuclear weapons to the forefront. South Korea, unable to rely on the US or Japan, is now helplessly facing North Korea’s provocations. May the Lord take control over the evil acts of North Korea and may the South Koreans only put hope in God and not the allies.
