[Prayer] Pray for seven North Korean defectors caught by Chinese police
On April 28, seven North Korean defectors who were waiting for a visit to South Korea in a Shenyang hideout were caught by Chinese police, which included a 9-year-old girl and her uncle. According to the North Korean human rights group, in this case, forced repatriation is carried out within 15 days on average. At a press conference held in front of the Chinese embassy in Seoul on April 30, a 9-year-old girl’s mother cried out and appealed in her tears, “If I close my eyes now, I can hear the voice of my daughter crying and wanting to see me.”
We pray that they will not be handed over to North Korea, be escaped in other safe place, and not be subjected to public executions or political prison camps.
