[Prayer] North Korea refusing UN proposals such as dismantling political prison camps

North Korea has refused 63 human rights proposals out of 262, recommended by the United Nations. They include dismantling political prison camps, prohibiting all forms of forced labor, ensuring fair trials, and revising criminal laws about violating religious freedom. North Korea doesn’t want to accept the proposals because North Korea claims that there are no political prison camps and there is no discrimination and forced labor based on social status. North Korea argues, “The few anti-state criminals, such as spies and terrorists sent by hostile forces, are separated from ordinary prisoners at correctional centers. There is no social status discrimination or religious oppression. Moreover, there is no discrimination in food distribution. We put top priority on children, women and the disabled,” which is not the reality of North Korea.

We pray that the human rights crime of North Korea, which is still ongoing despite the criticism of the international community, will stop.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1
