“It is difficult for North Korean Christians to read the South Korean Bible. This is because some parts are not understood due to the language difference between the North and the South. Moreover, there are many elders whose eye are dim. Thus, they need the big lettered Bible, but we cannot find it here. If you have big lettered North Korean Bible, please send us a few copies. Please send along the small lettered North Korean Bible for they are needed as well.” This is a request from a minister who teaches the Bible to the North Korean defectors in China. We pray that the North Koreans will be able to read the Bible in their language and enjoy the blessing of meeting Jesus Christ.
“You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me.” Lord, who spoke in John 5:39 that the Bible testifies of Jesus, we pray that the North Korean Bible, which is easier to understand, will be supplied to North Korean believers so that they may know Jesus Christ who is the Life. Also, we pray that the big lettered North Korean Bibles will be distributed to Christians whose eyes are dim so that they may have the opportunity to meet the living God. May the doors of delivering Bibles be opened so that everyone in the underground church in North Korea and the Christians studying the Bible in China will be filled with the joy of reading the word of God.
