[Prayer] The Impact of Chinese Church on Korean Church ③

The Chinese church, which is more severely persecuted than in the Cultural Revolution, is worshiping in various forms to avoid the eyes of government authorities. Walking Worship is one of the forms of worship. People would worship together by listening with their own earphones the pre-recorded worship file. The place for gathering is not a church but a park, a restaurant, and so on. While the Korean Church is negatively influenced by the enlargement of the size and volume of the church, the Walking Worship model of Chinese church shows how beautiful a church is when the worship is focused on the heart rather than on appearance and height.

“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” Lord, who spoke of the direction the Saints should go in 1Timothy 6:11~12, we give you thanks and glory for showing us a whole new worship form called Walking Worship that focuses on you alone. We pray that Korean churches, immigrant churches, and even the churches scattered around the nations have restored worship filled with the power of godliness, so that the Holy and perfect church, like the early churches that could not be overcome by the power of the grave, can endure the last spiritual warfare.
