[Prayer] No contact with the South due to the order of the North Korean authorities

North Korea has been unilaterally suspending business arrangements with South Korean civilian organizations since early this month. It sent a fax, saying, “A joint business is no longer available for a while due to the order of the authorities.” Or, all of a sudden it didn’t answer the phone as well as the fax.

There is a story among the North Korea related group officials that the North Korean authorities have issued an internal ban on not contacting the South Korean residents. When private sector contacts are closed, inter-Korean relations have entered a freezing phase. We pray that this situation may not hinder the spread of the Gospel in North Korea.

Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel… But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice.”

Philippians 1: 12 & 18
