[Prayer] North Korean Children have suffered from hunger and forced labor!

A debate on the human rights of North Korean children was held at the United Nations Secretariat (UNOG) in Geneva, Switzerland on March 11 (local time). At the 40th UNHRC general meeting, the debate was held by the group called Seongtong Manza (meaning the people who make a successful reunion), together with Amnesty International and North Korean human rights group NAUH. Participating organizations criticized that North Korean children are suffering from hunger and are being controlled through idolization education, military training and systematic oversight. They also pointed out the reality that North Korean children are deprived of their opportunity to receive education at school and are taken to do forced labor.

We pray that North Korean children would take back their right to receive education at school as well as not to do forced labor. Let North Korean children have a chance to hear the gospel so that they would enjoy the blessing of salvation from the Lord.

“But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,

for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Luke 18:16
