[Prayer] Let the desocialization phenomenon increase in North Korea
In Kim Jong Un’s New Year message, Kim urged ‘the construction of socialist civilization’. He also argued that the unethical and uncivilized trends must fade away among his people. It is an unusual thing to mention the social trend in the New Year message. The background of this remark is desocialization, which is the spread of capitalist culture in North Korea. North Korean people are able to taste outside cultures through many different ways such as Korean movies and dramas. Through this desocialization, North Korean residents in a closed society can be exposed to outside information, which makes them more yearn for an open society in North Korea.
We need to pray that North Korean people will be awakened through this desocialization phenomenon so that they have more opportunities to get exposed to God’s truth.
