[Prayer] North Korea’s dark night without electricity except for Pyongyang

[Prayer] North Korea’s dark night without electricity except for Pyongyang

Since the first meeting of the North Korea-China summit in March, China has played a major role in resolving the power shortages in North Korea three times, and since the end of June, 24 hours of electricity has been supplied only to the city of Pyongyang, which helped the power problem mitigated. However, in cities other than Pyongyang, electricity is supplied at an average of less than one hour a day, and still suffer serious power shortages.

As shown in the photo above, one bright spot in North Korea is Pyongyang, and the rest of the area is lightless, which is contrast to the night of South Korea, full of light. We know that not only electricity, but the situation in each area of North Korea is so bad. However, the North Korean leadership still propagates their people that North Korea is a paradise on earth. Prayer is needed for the light of the gospel to shine into the dark land of North Korea due to the false idol regime, and for the North Korean people, who are living in the false paradise, to enjoy the blessing of becoming a citizen of heaven.

In 2 Samuel 22:29, God says, “You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light.” I lift up the North Korean people who have been going through a dark time 70 years under the dictatorship regime of North Korea. In the surveillance and control of the North Korean authorities, may God’s workers be able to deliver the word of God and preach the Gospel every day, and may God send those who have ears to hear so that they will be provided the word of God and a new life in North Korea.  I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
