[Prayer] Let the North Korean worker hear the Gospel while working in China
Recently, twenty North Korean women have entered the famous Sauna in Dandong, China. The full amount of the salary that they receive as they work in a 24-hour period goes back to the person in charge, and what they actually earn is a small amount after they give the loyalty funds to the regime. Previously, there used to be North Korean women working in restaurants or apparel companies, but this is the first time North Korean women doing a performance with singing and dancing even in the sauna. Currently, the North Korean authorities are dispatching workers regardless of the nature or work of Chinese companies. They also simplify the immigration procedures to earn foreign currency, and issue a foreigner’s certificate to workers who have expired in their stay in China on the same day they return from China, which is an expedient. Therefore, North Korean workers, who were banned from going outside and behaving freely until they returned home, returned to work immediately after their staying in China was expired, not being able to return home or meet their family members.
Prayer is needed to ensure that the North Korean workers who make foreign currency for the regime under severe surveillance like a slave will have the opportunity to hear the gospel in some form, believing in Jesus Christ and resting in the Lord.
In Matthew 11:28, God says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” I lift up the North Korean workers who work to earn foreign currency. May every North Korean worker, who is sent to China for foreign currency earning, hear the Word of God as sanctions on North Korea are prolonged. For this, may the North Korean workers, who are suffering from exploitation of labor under heavy surveillance, be given the freedom to move, so that they would enjoy the blessing of hearing the Gospel and knowing God. Let them go back to North Korea and spread the Gospel to the people around them, so that the number of believers will exponentially increase, which will be used as a powerful tool for the collapse of the North Korean regime.
