[Prayer] Let the North Korean regime collapse from the inside!
In late August, a North Korean broker was arrested in Onsung, North Hamkyung Province, where he was found guilty of helping defectors by a North Korean resident who was sent to Sinuiju from China. Border guards who have been bribed for the past 10 years and who helped North Korean defectors are arrested along with their supporters and are waiting for trial later this month.
The North Korean authorities, which have strengthened border control to maintain the system, are expected to impose strict punishment on the arrested border guards and security personnel as well as the residents and brokers attempting to escape. In spite of the situation in which the border area is shrinking, prayer is needed for new channels of hearing outside situations and the gospel to be opened, and for the North Korean people to enjoy the peace of God and worship God freely regardless of the situation in North Korea.
In Psalm 9:9, God says, “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” I lift up a situation in which North Korea is strengthening the crackdown and punishment on the border area. Please protect God’s workers and the North Korean believers, and let the gospel of God be delivered to the North Korean people in the border region without any hindrance. Also, as the North Korean authorities tighten their control, the opposition of the North Koreans including the government officials, who have been in trouble due to livelihood issues, will burst, so let the North Korean dictatorship collapse from the inside. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
