[Prayer] Let more North Korean people hear the Gospel!
“There was a resident whom I came to know in the North Korea Jangmadang. Even though the quality of the goods was not good, I became to have a relationship of conversation with him through multiple purchases, and one day I was given the opportunity to visit his house. The resident told me who bought his stuffs, ‘You are like a good man.’ At that moment, I said, ‘There is someone who loves you more than I am.’ He said, ‘I know.’ He said that he had heard God’s existence indirectly through defectors or ‘Life Consensus’ which is a meeting where the North Korean people reflect on their work and life, and criticize each other in organizations such as parties and labor organizations.”
This is a recent story from a worker. We must pray that the North Korean people will not only hear about God indirectly but also know God more precisely and accurately. Prayer is needed for God’s words to be more delivered to North Korea so that the North Korean people will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel, and also for the workers who are preaching the Gospel in North Korea to be safely protected. In addition, we need to pray that the souls that are prepared through the workers believe Jesus Christ as their Savior, become a people of Heaven, and enjoy the blessing of worshiping God.
In Proverbs 30: 5, God says, “Every word of God has proven to be true. He is a shield to those who come to him for protection.” I lift up the North Korean people in the blind spots of the Gospel. I praise God who has enabled his chosen people to hear the Gospel and receive the blessing of salvation as they hear it even though North Korea is thoroughly against God and the people of faith. Furthermore, I praise God who has enabled the Gospel to spread through the North Korean people, and your Kingdom to expand in the land of North Korea. Now, throughout the entire land of North Korea, may God’s Word be preached and the souls returning to the Lord be multiplied. Have mercy on them to receive the Bibles that they need. So, may God’s Word and Power, living and active, shake the land of North Korea so that the environment of worshiping God freely can be created soon. Also, please build the faithful workers who preach the Gospel, safely protect them when they preach the Gospel. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
