[Prayer] North Koreans are facing difficulty living in the heat
The following is a story between North Korean family told by a defector “Due to the extreme heat and drought at the Dae Hong Dan region in Yanggan Province, Students were mobilized to water the potato fields with water basins. Especially in the inland area, the heat is worse. Since there are no trees in the North, there are shades. And unlike South Korea, they do not have air-conditioning…. The heat is so bad that farming and the business is so slow causing economic crisis. As the price of rice and potatoes rise, the bigger issue is to eat and live than heat itself.”
Much prayer is needed to improve the environment of North Koreans suffering from drought and famine due to heat. Pray that the gospel will be communicated to the North Korean people living in a particularly hungry and hard-to-live environment, so they will know Jesus Christ, the bread of life.
God says in Isaiah 44: 3, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” I claim your promise in Isaiah 44:3, and I lift up in prayer the situation of North Korean trying to survive from drought and famine.
Please have mercy upon the North Koreans suffering from greater difficulties in the severe drought due to hot weather and poor forests. The Lord who gives water to the thirsty will give mercy to the land of North Korea, soak up the barren land and give way to the North Korean people. Also, let the North Korean authorities cease pouring astronomical costs into the development of weapons such as nuclear and missiles, and make a policy to help the suffering North Koreans. Most of all, let the gospel be preached in North Korea so that all the North Koreans will believe in Jesus Christ to have eternal life. Fill the North Korean residents who hunger and thirst with your word of life!
