[Prayer] North Korean authorities could not offer a holiday gift on September 9th
During the national holidays, the North Korean authorities offer a holiday gift. Gifts are offered during Kim Il Sung’s birthday, Kim Jong Il’s birthday, and especially during the holiday of September 9th. 1kg of sugarcane and a bottle of alcoholic beverages are provided to people in Pyongyang including college students and in rural areas including middle school students. But there was no such gift on September 9th holiday this year. This confirms that the emergency light is on in North Korea’s foreign currency earning. Despite this economic difficulty, the North Korean authorities are not looking back at the residents but are putting their national assets into developing nuclear power and establishing tourism districts. And officials are leading the illegal activities for their own good. It is necessary to pray for North Korea to be free from the overall disaster by abandoning its evil regime and forced idolatry.
I pray by claiming God’s Word from Proverbs 1:22, “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?” that God would take care of North Korea that is facing difficulties in foreign currency earning to the extent that North Korea could not offer a gift to its people. May North Korea be awakened so that North Korea becomes a country that worships God. Please plant the Christians throughout the land of North Korea and let them have a long-established faith rooted in the Word of God. As we wait for the unification of the Korean Peninsula through the Gospel, let your people of faith be trained and prepared in all parts of the world, so that they can do what they are called to do in God’s ways when North Korea in total disaster is opened. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
