“I learnt in North Korea that Americans invaded North Korea and they are our enemy. However, I am having second thoughts now after I visited America. When church people in America were told that we were from North Korea, they hugged us in tears and they said they have been praying for us. We felt the real love of God in the church. I had to repent my wrong thoughts against America. Another Christian sister was shocked after visiting America and thought she could move to the States and get married there.”
North Koreans are brainwashed into believing that America is the main culprit. The North Korean government even sets a special period from 25th of June to 27th of July annually to hate America nationally. We have to pray for North Koreans not to be indoctrinated with hatred and wrong history by their government.
Father, thank You for the Scripture in Hosea 11 verse 12 “Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit, but Judah still walks with God and is faithful to the Holy One.” Lord, we thank You for those North Koreans who changed their thoughts towards America after visiting the nation. Please stop the North Korean government giving its people wrong information about America. They are being taught that America is their enemy and it will invade their nation. It is North Korea that keeps provoking wars and tension around the globe. Please have mercy upon North Korea to have freedom to worship You. Please transform the evil nation into godly nation. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
