No more suffering for North Koreans from hunger

Quoting the UN’s Rapid Food Security Assessment, the Voice of America reported on 19th that the North Korean government distributed 300g of food last month which is the half the UN’s minimum recommended amount. The North Korean people were given 360g of food per person in the second quarter. They are given 17% reduced amount these days and it is the lowest level since 2011.

The U.N. World Food Program (WFP) sent 379 tons of food to North Korea last month. Each North Korean was given 27g of food per day, which was the smallest quantity for 2011. 80% was reduced from the amount sent in last Juned.

Because of the North’s a nuclear testing and other missile tests, North Korean people are suffering from the strict sanctions by the UN. Nevertheless, the North Korean government does not stop its military first policy. Please pray for North Koreans to get practical help and benefits from their own government.

Father, thank You for the Scripture in Romans 12 verse 13 “Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.” We pray for North Koreans who are suffering from the lack of food. The North Korean government does not care for its people but only focus on developing the national military power. Please stop its wicked policy. Turn their way from evil. The North Korean people are in need and must be supported by their own nation first. Lord, please help us to send more practical help to our brothers and sisters in North Korea. We want to show the love of God and deliver the good news to them. Allow us to spread the gospel message to North Korea. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
