[Prayer] Mission work in China shall not be daunted by persecution

 CHINA

On February 11th, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported that 4 missionaries including a Korean-American pastor were arrested near to the China–North Korea border. The United States Embassy in China is searching for Pastor Park Won Cheol. The four missionaries used to come and go about around the borderline area for evangelizing people.

Recently many South Korean missionaries working in China have been deported. These days, the Chinese police are again chasing after missionaries. We need to pray for imprisoned missionaries and for mission works to be more prosperous even under persecution against the church.

Father, thank You for the Scripture in Jeremiah 20 verse 11 “But the LORD is with me as a dread warrior; therefore, my persecutors will stumble; they will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed, for they will not succeed. Their eternal dishonor will never be forgotten.” Lord, we pray for those who are afflicted because of their faith in Christ. Please protect imprisoned missionaries in China from any physical and emotional harm and pain. We pray for them to be braver in sprit. Let them not to be afraid of preaching the gospel. Please prosper mission work in China. Please anoint missionaries who are working in China. Give them divine wisdom and faith upon faith to trust our faithful God. Please grant spiritual freedom in China and fill the land with Your glory. Please establish Your Kingdom there and let all other nations be blessed. In Jesus Name, we pray. Amen
